These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Cross Adventure Travel (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking or participating in any of our travel services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
Cross Adventure Travel provides travel-related services, including but not limited to: tour packages, activities, excursions, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
We act as both a direct service provider (for tours we organize) and as an intermediary/agent for third-party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, and activity providers.
2. Bookings & Payments
- A booking is confirmed only when we receive full payment or a required deposit.
- By making a booking, you confirm that all details provided are accurate (including traveler names as per passports).
- Payments must be made using the methods specified on our website or invoice.
Some bookings may require immediate full payment depending on supplier terms.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations by you:
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email).
- Refunds depend on the supplier’s policy and our own administrative fees.
- Some bookings (e.g., flights, promotional tours) may be fully non-refundable.
- Cancellations by us:
- We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., low participation, safety concerns, force majeure).
- In such cases, you will be offered an alternative arrangement or a full refund.
- No-shows:
- Failure to arrive at the scheduled departure time may result in loss of the full booking amount.
4. Changes to Bookings
- Any requested changes (e.g., dates, names, itineraries) are subject to availability and supplier approval.
- Additional costs may apply.
5. Travel Requirements
- It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid passports, visas, permits, vaccinations, and travel insurance as required.
- Cross Adventure Travel is not responsible for denied boarding, entry refusal, or additional costs due to missing documents or health requirements.
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, lost luggage, accidents, and other travel risks.
7. Liability & Responsibility
- Cross Adventure Travel acts as an intermediary for services provided by third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, transport companies, etc.).
- We are not liable for:
- Acts or omissions of third parties.
- Delays, cancellations, accidents, losses, or damages beyond our control.
- Force Majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, political unrest, government actions).
- Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the services in question.
8. Health & Safety
- You must inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
- Participation in adventure activities (e.g., hiking, climbing, water sports) is at your own risk. You must follow safety instructions given by guides and suppliers.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, brochures, and marketing materials (logos, images, text, itineraries) is the property of Cross Adventure Travel and may not be copied or used without written consent.
10. Complaints
If you have a complaint during your trip, you must notify us or the supplier immediately so that we can attempt to resolve it. Complaints submitted after the trip will only be considered if reported during travel first.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.
12. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated version will be published on our website with a new effective date.
